Description

Tip!: Does your binding thread break? Then it is probably too dry. Fortunately, this is easy to fix!

Hold the wire for a few minutes over hot steam, such as a kettle or a pan of water (watch out for hands with heat!). You will notice that your thread will become very strong again!

Lace makers have been using the same technique for hundreds of years, they already knew, for example, that it is better not to sit in the full sun with linen materials. Due to the dryness that is caused, the thread then breaks quickly. Fortunately, a little steam does wonders!
