BioFelt – It Doesn’t Get More Natural Than This

De Witte Engel BioFelt is made from 100 % wool. The wool comes from South American and European sheep breeds and manufactured in Europe. BioFelt contains 70 – 100 % Merino wool combined with other soft European wool types. BioFelt comes in 6 beautiful and natural colours. BioFelt is undyed wool felt, thus all colors are mixed from the pure wool sheered off the sheep.

What is BioFelt?

All natural BioFelt, like it’s coloured big sister TrueFelt, is Ökotex and REACH certified. This certificate ensures that our BioFelt is natural, sustainable, and free from toxic and harmful substances and colorants. In addition, it is especially safe to use in children’s toys. This why BioFelt is also the natural choice for us to use in our DIY kits. It does not fray or stretch. Because of the 100 % wool composition, it is not flammable and can be used in multiple other applications as well, such as for architectural purposes as well as heat and sound insulation.

Customers and felt wholesale clients can purchase BioFelt either in pieces of 20 cm x 30 cm, in strips of 20 cm x 180 cm or per meter, width 180 cm. One roll of BioFelt is 20- 25 meters. In exchange for a 10 % fee, BioFelt can also be cut into specific size rectangular pieces according to the customer’s wishes.

BioFelt natural colors weights 435 g/ml. As TrueFelt, BioFelt is produced in Europe.
