Overview of the different needled fleeces/prefelts

Our different Needled fleeces:

Merino Needled fleece 22 micron: This is a very solid 100 % woollen needled fleece with even surface and great for bigger pieces of work. The weight is 150 gr per m2 and the roll is 160 cm wide.

European needled fleece 27 micron: This 100 % woollen needled fleece is produced by bio standards in Europe. It is nice and soft, but not as soft as the finest type. However that is made up by the fantastic price quality ratio and firmness. The roll width is about 140 cm and we offer 9 colors. The weight per m2 is 140 gr.

Fine needled fleece 19,5 micron. This 100 % woollen needled fleece is thin airy and so soft that it is hard to let go of it while having it on your hands! The weight of this felt is about 120 grams per square meter and it is about 5 mm thick. The roll width is about 120 cm and we offer 44 colors.

Fleece2Felt. Very thick and sturdy 5mm thick needled fleece with a whopping weight of 300 gr per m2. The roll is 65 cm wide.

Needled fleece with Silk. This item also called as Wosiweb and is made from superfine (19.5 microns) merino wool with an addition of 20% mulberry silk. The fleece is easily felted and feels wonderfully soft. The silk addition gives the felt a luxurious sparkle. WoIsiweb has a weight of approximately 85 grams per square meter and is 120 cm wide.
Extra fine needled fleece. This is an extra thin version of our regular needle fleece. This needled fleece is about a third lighter. The weight per square meter is only approx. 85 grams compared to 120 grams for the normal variety. Ideal for making a very flexible and soft felt, for example for garments. Available in the unduyed color white. The width of the fabric is 120 cm.

Melweb. Just like the normal needle fleece, it weighs around 120 grams per square meter, but is blended from black and white wool. Together this makes a beautifully mixed dark grey. The width of the fabric is 120 cm.

Duoweb – fine two-sided needled fleece Duo consists of two layers of needle fleece: one layer black and one layer white. Both only 60 grams per square meter, so together 120 grams. The two layers were pegged together by the needle felting machine during an extra run and form an inseparable whole. Further felting with soap and water creates a firm, but super soft felt with a different color on each side. Great for clothes, bags, hats … let your imagination go!
