Calcium Hydroxide

E526, Ca(OH)2, also known as slaked lime. For influencing the acidity. It is a base that neutralizes acid. It is created by heating lime (calcium carbonate) above 800 degrees and then extinguishing it with water. Dissolves moderately in water. Safely packed in plastic jars with screw lids (so no dust when opened).

Danger: Causes serious eye damage.

This product is packed in a compostable bag produced in the Netherlands.
