Icelandic, light gray melange from the brand meervilt!, approx. 34 microns. Fiber length approx. 80 mm. A special wool with a rough appearance.
Who doesn't know the beautiful Icelandic sweaters? The knitting yarns for this are spun from this beautiful wool with a warm, light gray hue. It's certainly not super fine wool, but it feels softer than you'd expect.
To reduce the loss of hair, you must continue to shrink considerably when felting. If you use the wool for XXL knitting, knit a little tighter than normal. It is better to use knitting needles and not to arm knit. Tip: twist the wool one turn at each stitch. Then you spin the wick slightly, as it were, and the wool gets more bandage, so that it sheds less.
