Oogst – Guar gum

Description

Guar gum is extracted from the seeds of the Guar plant. It is a natural binding and thickening agent that can be used not only in the kitchen, but also for creative purposes.
For example, you can make ink or paint in combination with the natural dyes of Oogst.
The guar gum ensures that the ink or paint adheres well to the paper.

Guar gum breaks down at extreme pH and temperatures. If the pH drops below 3 or temperature exceeds 50°C, it breaks down. The best pH level where the Guar gum remains stable is between 5 and 7.
