In 2015, Trixi Symonds realized that she wanted to share her love of sewing and making softies with people all over the world. Initially, it started modestly as a one-day event where Trixi asked people to share their Softie designs as tutorials.
It was a huge success and people all over the world, not just for one day but for the whole month, shared their softies and also tutorials on how to make them.
Kids started showing their homemade softies to their friends and inspired them to make their own softies. These kid ambassadors showed that softies are really cool!
